Russell Wilson - Wilson didn’t get going last year until week 11. He went on to have 25 TDs in his last 7 games! (Look back at those numbers and just start drooling). He’s finally healthy after the bye week and the Falcons are coming to town. They’ve allowed more fantasy points to QBs this year than any other team. Wilson can win you tournaments. He just put up 26 DK points at the Jets, without running the ball at all. Lock this guy in and win!
Brian Hoyer - Hoyer’s 3 games since taking over for Jay Cutler have resulted in 22.9, 22.8, and 26.8 DK points. He’s passed for over 300 yards and 2 TDs in each game. His 24.1 average points would easily make him the number one value play of the week. He now gets the Jags at home and will be my cash game QB across the board!
Pay up for running backs this week!!!
LeSean McCoy - Shady’s back to his old ways. Averaging 24.4 points over his last 3 games. He had 150 yards rushing last week at the Rams. Now the 49ers are coming to town and they’ve been shredded this year by opposing running backs, allowing the 6th most fantasy points. He’s averaging 17 carries, and 4.5 targets per game. It’s an amazing matchup, at home, with what should be a high scoring Bills team. Lock him in!
DeMarco Murray - Murray’s WORST game this year is 21.5 DK points. Derrick Henry has been no threat to stealing carries from Murray. Last week DMarc played 81% of the snaps. I’ll probably be saving $800 and go with McCoy, but Murray’s production has been unbelievable and it’s a tasty matchup!
Doug Baldwin - Baldwin gets a healthy QB back following the bye, is at home, facing a soft Falcons D. From Evan Silva of Rotoworld: “Baldwin's last seven stat lines in home games are 8-164-1, 9-92-1, 8-118-1, 4-45-2, 6-145-3, 6-60-0, and 7-134-1”. Pair him up with Wilson right now! The Seahawks are going to put on a show!
Michael Thomas - At $4,300, Thomas will be in almost every lineup of mine this week. He received 20 targets in the 2 games heading into the bye. He played more snaps than any Saint WR in week 4, and now he’s at home, with Drew Brees, in a high power offense. Lock him in!
Cameron Meredith - I backed off of Meredith a little last week with the news of Eddie Royal playing. The box score at the end read: 12 targets, 9 catches, 130 yards, and a touchdown… 30.6 DK points. He stepped into the Kevin White role immediately after White was injured. Meredith led the team in snaps last week, playing 95% of the offensive plays. He’s still only $4,100 and will be a lot more popular this week. That doesn’t matter. Play him!
Double the fun!
It’s definitely a 2 tight end week on DK. There are a number of guys in amazing spots that I like more than any wide receivers in that price range.
Greg Olsen - He averaged 9 targets per game over the first 3 weeks. Then he stepped it up to 13 in each of the next two games. He is the most expensive TE on DK this week and for good reasons. I usually pay down at TE, but I’m rethinking that with value guys like Meredith at WR. Only 4 receivers have averaged more DK points than Olsen this year. Olsen gets you elite level WR production, $3,000 cheaper than the top WR.
Travis Kelce - Saving $500 off Walker, Kelce’s in a great spot against a Raider D that’s given up the 6th most points to TEs on the year. Only Olsen and Dennis Pitta have received more targets per game amongst tight ends playing this week.
Jimmy Graham - Jimmy Graham back? After starting the season recovering from knee surgery, Graham had 100 yards and over 20 DK points in the two games heading into the bye week. It couldn’t have come at a better time for the Seahawks, giving Wilson and Graham an extra week to recover. The Falcons have also given up the 3rd most points to TEs on the year. Load up!
Coby Fleener - GPP only! Fleener is only $3,500 and is basically a wide receiver… for Drew Brees… at home. He’s bigger, taller, and faster than Kelvin Benjamin. He’s seeing 7 targets per game and has as high of ceiling as any TE on the board. The only problem is his floor is so low when Brees spreads the ball around to his other receivers. You could easily see Fleener at the top of GPPs this week!
Just 1 D.
Buffalo Bills - The Bills have been crushing it! Their last 3 games have been 22 DK points (AZ), 15 (@NE), 17 (@LA). Now they get the Niners, at home. The 49ers have the 2nd lowest projected team total on the week. The Bills are averaging 2.6 takeaways per game, and the Niners allow 3.4 sacks per game. The Bills are also finding the end zone with 3 TDs so far. They’re the 2nd most expensive team, but you can lock ‘em in for double digit points!
That’s it for this week guys. Good luck! Be sure to get on Twitter before lineup lock for any late breaking news. You can find me, @NickMarshGuy, for any help you need!
